The Center is responsible for initiating all specifications and standards for components - including PC Connectors - as well as monitoring suppliers of those components. Over the years, Crane DSCC-Approved connectors have been used on a variety of military projects ranging from secure field communications systems (the Sincgars Radio) to the Patriot Defensive Missile System. Crane connectors can be found in flight instrument panels, F-15 defensive measures instrumentation, torpedo navigation systems, ship board radio, surface-to-air and air-to-air missile navigation systems, and control arms for the space shuttle.
